Instagram business accounts are making their way up the social media ladder with each passing day. Instagram seems to have provided quite an organised platform for both small and old business owners alike.
If you are an established brand or a new one, an Instagram business account will help you achieve the kind of exposure you want for your brand. It is advisable that you plan ahead and don’t take random steps related to your account.
Building an organic follower base on your Instagram business account takes some work, and here are a few steps to help with that.
The first step towards development is staying true to your aim for creating a business account on Instagram.
Needless to say, they will also help create interesting posts to add to your feed. This will lead to follower engagement, which is considered one of the most important things to grow your brand on Instagram.
Your brand image is the most important factor while trying to promote it. Make sure you put up important brand information on the business profile. Starting with the bio, you must know how to write a crisp yet informative bio for your profile to let people know what they are looking at.
Giving your audience a prior idea can be very beneficial for your business. If a user opens your page and is able to understand if it interests them in one glance- you have won half the battle. Next, try and keep track of the pre-existing customer base of your brand.
If you are new to Instagram, make sure that your previous customers are notified and follow your page. Use multiple relevant hashtags to catch the attention of interested users. This way, you will have a new customer base before you even know it. Know your target audience and curate your content according to that.
Once you have chosen to grow your business online, especially on a social media platform, try to understand the basics.
For example, if you are a clothing brand, you can curate posts to engage fashion enthusiasts. Promote your products in a way that engages your followers and keeps them hooked to your account.
An Instagram nametag is a code that can be scanned. If you did not know about this, make sure you read up well on using it correctly. Users and customers can scan the code, and it will directly redirect them to your Instagram page.
The easiest way to use this feature is to print out the code and attach it to your delivery packaging. This way, whenever a customer receives a delivery from you, they will gain easy access to your Instagram account as well.
