The General Election 2019

Brief: Create content and manage paid ad spend until polling day.

The Campaign

Working directly with Facebook’s in house government team we created and managed display ads targeted at likely voters across the UK. The work centred on a leading edge approach to data, which allowed us to rapidly test and iterate campaigns.

There were multiple outcomes:
  • Finding new activists to join the campaign by integrating lead gen with mail software to enlist people.
  • Using voter data intention to re-model new voter audiences at scale.
  • Creating dynamic landing pages that convert and auto populate with constituency areas – improving personalisation and conversion.
  • Creating multiple audience iterations based on behavioural data then testing them through multiple iterations of creative.
  • Across the campaign we created and and managed upwards of 1000 ads concurrently with a daily spend of £50,000.
